Cultivated Care

Don’t Wait for a Diagnosis to Start.

So much of a dog’s health is built or lost in the everyday: what they eat, how they move, the rhythms they live inside. Most care kicks in after something goes wrong. The Holistic Canine Consult works the other way. Prevention first. A whole-dog care plan built for where your dog is right now, and where you hope they never end up.

The Story Behind the Consult

My Luna was thirteen when the diagnosis came. Cushing’s. There was one prescription to try, and when it did not work for her, we were out of options. No other treatment. No plan for what came next. And neither of us was ready to say goodbye.

So I went looking for more. Not a cure. Something real. That search pulled me into herbal study, into the garden, into years of learning I never planned on. What I found is the thing no one had told me: you can do more than what is offered to you. The options you are handed are rarely the whole list.

I also learned how out of reach that kind of help can be. Where I live, there is a single holistic vet, and the first visit alone costs several times the price of this consult. The diet changes and the course of care they recommend would never fit a real, limited budget. Good options should not belong only to the people who can afford them. That is a large part of why this consult exists, and why the founding rate is what it is.

As a retired dietitian, I read the science carefully and without hype. I also live this work. I grow and make my own herbal remedies at home. I choose quality supplements, the same ones my own dogs and I share. I grow food as medicine. Paired with over twenty years in rescue and ongoing herbal study, that means your dog’s care plan is grounded in real practice, not guessed.

Whether you are getting ahead of trouble or facing it head on, you deserve a partner who helps you build the care plan, respects what you can spend, and never leaves you powerless.

Who This Consult Is For

This consult is for you if:

  • You want to get ahead of things. Supporting your dog’s health now, before small changes turn into chronic problems.
  • Your dog is healthy and you want a proactive plan for diet, daily rhythms, and long-term resilience.
  • Your senior dog is slowing down and you want to help them feel their best in the years you have together.
  • Your dog carries a chronic or ongoing diagnosis and you want a thoughtful layer of support.
  • You have felt dismissed or unheard, and you want someone to take your dog’s whole story seriously.
  • You are ready to be an informed advocate, not just a passenger in your dog’s care.

What You Get

A full intake, read by me

You share your dog’s history, diagnoses, treatments, diet, and daily rhythms. I read every detail, and all of it shapes your care plan.

Ten to thirty minutes each, both included. The first before your care plan is written, so nothing about your dog is left out. The second once you’ve had time to review it, for your questions. No jargon, no rush.

How It Works

Step 1 · Reserve your consult

Complete checkout to reserve your consult.

Step 2 · Tell me about your dog

You are taken straight to a short intake where you share your dog’s story, history, and what you are hoping to sort out.

Step 3 · I review it, closely

I read and work through your intake myself. Within a few days you will receive an email with follow-up questions, the specific things your dog’s story raised. Once I have your answers, we book your call to discuss the details of your dog’s health and how you hope to support them.

Step 4 · Your call, then your care plan

We talk for ten to thirty minutes, at a time that works for you, and decide what is most important for your dog. Your written Cultivated Canine Care Plan follows, ready to print for your next vet visit.

Step 5 · Your follow-up call

Once you’ve had time to review your care plan, we talk again for ten to thirty minutes. Bring anything you want to go over: a step you are unsure how to start, something your vet said, a supplement you want to understand before you buy it.

Founding Rate: $97

The first group of dog parents shapes how this consult grows. No countdown timer, no pressure.

If I find your dog is better served by your vet, I will refund your consult. You will never be sold something that does not serve your dog.

Every paid consult helps fund a free consult for a rescue or shelter dog in need. When you invest in your own dog’s care, you help extend that same care to a dog still waiting for a home.

Ready to Build Your Dog’s Care Plan?

Your dog does not need another wait-and-see. You do not need another night wondering if you missed something.

The Holistic Canine Consult offers educational, holistic wellness guidance designed to work alongside your veterinarian. It is not veterinary care, and it does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. It is not a substitute for your vet, and it is not for emergencies. If your dog is in distress, contact your veterinarian or an emergency clinic right away. Every dog is different, so outcomes vary and no specific result is promised.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who am I actually working with?

You work directly with me, Corrina. Retired dietitian with a clinical-nutrition and holistic health background. Over twenty years in rescue. I grow and make my own herbal remedies, choose quality supplements my own dogs and I share, and treat food as medicine. I read every intake myself and write every care plan personally.

Is this a substitute for my vet?

No. It is a supportive layer that works alongside the care your dog already receives.

My dog seems healthy. Is this still worth it?

Yes, and honestly that is the best time. The most powerful work we can do is proactive: supporting your dog’s diet, daily rhythms, and resilience before problems ever take hold. Prevention is the heart of this consult. Healthy dogs and the people who love them are exactly who it is built for.

How long does it take?

About two weeks from intake to care plan, when your answers come back quickly: a few days for me to read your intake and send my follow-up questions, our first call once you have answered, then your written care plan. Your second call happens once you’ve had time to review it, on your timing. If your vet’s records are still on their way, that can add time, and I will tell you.

Are both calls included?

Yes. Two calls, ten to thirty minutes each, are part of your consult.

What if my dog is not a good fit?

If your dog’s situation is outside what this consult can responsibly support, I will tell you honestly and refund your consult.

Can you help with a chronic diagnosis?

Yes. Chronic and ongoing conditions are exactly where this consult does its best work.

Is this right for a senior dog?

Absolutely. Senior dogs are close to my heart. The consult focuses on helping your dog feel their best right now and making the everyday rhythms of your life together a little easier.

What happens after I pay?

You are taken straight to a short intake form to tell me about your dog. From there, I review everything myself and deliver your Cultivated Canine Care Plan and both of your calls.
